Pamela “PJ” Hancock
GLASGOW – Pamela “PJ” Hancock, 66, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. PJ was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on February 27, 1959, to the late Joe Riley Jackson and the late Berda “Polly” Katherine Jackson. She was a dedicated member of the United Auto Workers community in Bowling Green, where her contributions were valued by her colleagues and peers.
Pamela cherished her family above all else and found immense joy in the time spent with them. She is survived by her beloved son, Chantz Hancock, and his wife, Sierra. Pamela was truly a doting grandmother to Zaylie and Zaiden Hancock, who brought her endless joy and pride. She is also survived by her sister, Jackie Todd and her husband John; nieces, Shannon Murphy and Savannah Ramsey alongside her husband Micheal; and numerous great-nephews, including Ethan Murphy, Mason Murphy (Bethany), Hayden Ramsey, Cooper Ramsey, Lucas Ramsey, and Beckett Ramsey, as well as her great-great-nephew, Aemon Murphy. Her aunt, Betty Burton, also remains among her survivors.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Riley Jackson and Berda Katherine “Polly” Jackson, who provided her with a strong foundation of love and values.
The funeral service for Ms. Hancock will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, June 6, 2025, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and after 8:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
