Jonell Ward Berry

LOUISVILLE – Jonell Ward Berry died Thursday, May 2025. Jonell is survived by three sisters-in-law, Ruby Davis, Barbara Ward, and Zelma Ward, all of Louisville; and many nieces and nephews.

Jonell was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Wayne Berry; her parents, Henry and Roxie Ward; brothers, Donald Ward, Claudie Ward, Lewis Ward, Ancel Ward, Robert Ward, Fay Ward, and Rondel Ward; and sisters, Geneva Emberton and Laverne Mizell.

Jonell was born September 24, 1937, in Monroe County. She was the property manager for Roth Realty and retired in 2006. Jonell attended Community General Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending. Jonell will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow, Kentucky, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm CST with burial in the Pleasant Home Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 am Sunday until time for services.
