Charles Rickey Johnson

GLASGOW – Charles Rickey Johnson, 70, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Glenview Health & Rehab Center. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Charles E. Johnson and Ella Lewis Culver Johnson.

Rickey was the owner of Rickey Johnson Livestock in Glasgow. He was one who loved to work as well as spend time with his family. In his spare time, he loved to visit the family dairy farm. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Bartley Johnson; one son, Alex Johnson; one brother, Danny L. Johnson; a sister-in-law, Tammy Miller (Teresa’s twin) and her husband, Ricky; five nieces and nephews: Mackenzie Miller Hale, Braxton Miller, Danny Johnson, Jr., Quentin Johnson, and Holly Childress; along with several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to BRAWA.
