Jo Anne Moran

EDMONTON – Jo Anne Moran, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. Jo Anne was born January 31, 1946, to Edgar Martin and the late Selma Pruitt Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Moran, and daughter, Kellie Renea’ Hammer.

Jo Anne was a member of the Edmonton Worship Center and was retired from KY Dept of Health & Resources after 39 years of service. She loved her job and family, but family was first to her.

She is survived by her father, Edgar Martin of Edmonton, KY; two grandsons, Zackory Ty (Amber) Hammer and Andrew Tanner Hammer both of Tompkinsville; great-grandson, Kindrex Knox Hammer; son-in-law, Christopher Brian Hammer; and a special cousin, Elaine (Leon) Wilson. She is also survived by a host of cousins.

Graveside services for Jo Anne Moran will be held on 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2024, at Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens in Edmonton. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Friday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, KY.
