Griffin Alexander Gardner, Jr.

CENTER – Griffin Alexander Gardner, Jr., age 85, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at his home. He worked as an architect draftsman, was a self-taught piano player, and was an avid artist. Griffin proudly served our country during the Vietnam War, and was a devout and faithful Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Griffin Gardner, Sr. and Violet Drabnick; and one brother, Steven Gardner.

He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl McMullen (Steve), and Kim Gardner; four grandsons, Michael Amsden, Matthew Amsden, Christopher Boyd, and Alex McMullen; and one great-grandson, Carson.

Honoring Griffin’s wishes, cremation was chosen by the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, KY.
