Barbara Jean Bailey

BOWLING GREEN – Barbara Jean Bailey, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Born on February 22, 1943, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Ralph Bailey and the late L.D. Stone Bailey.

Barbara was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved, and her family was always at the center of her life. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and the love and support she generously shared with those around her.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Myra Ann Harrison of Bowling Green, Ky; nephew, Joseph C. Bailey (Sheryl); great niece, Megan Bailey-Komar (Josh); great nephews, Benjamin C. Bailey (Michelle Cooney) and Tyler Bailey (Lauren); great-great nieces, Bailey Komar and Maclaine Bailey; great-great nephews, Tate Komar and Reed Bailey.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was proceeded in death by her brothers, Travis (Evelyn) Bailey, Leroy (Sandi) Bailey; nephew, Bradford Bailey.

The family has chosen cremation with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery, Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at 2:00 PM under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
