Dorothy Jane Mosier

GLASGOW – Dorothy Jane Scott Mosier, 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was retired from Sorenson’s. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Pearl McIntyre Scott.

She is survived by one son, Larry Fields (Demetris); three grandchildren, Shelly Smith (Steven), Michael Fields (Meaghan), and Allie Anderson; one step-daughter, Melody Ann Mosier Harrison (Todd); six step grandchildren, Tashia, Cody, Alexis, Emily, Chandler, and Blake; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren: her companion, Raymond Jones; special caregiver, Alma Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Mosier; step-daughter, Misty Jane Mosier; six brothers, Berchie Scott, Cecil Scott, Ira Scott, Russell Scott, Welby Scott, and Kermit Scott; four sisters, Francis Owens, Hazel Bean, Nina Bean, and Lela Scott.

The family is following Dorothy’s wishes by having a cremation with no services. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
