First Year Successes for BC Special Olympics Continues

The amount of effort by so many are fulfilling opportunities immeasurable for our individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities in the regards to playing sports. Basketball, Swimming, Bowling, Soccer, and Softball is in the works for males and females to join the group. Some athletes are playing in several if not all.

Most recently, the soccer team, which is coached by Courtnei Alexander along with her assistant and dad, Silas, finished as Bronze Medalist in the Special Olympics of Kentucky Division B2. Much thanks to the Alexander’s for their time and dedication to helping develop these young athletes in the sport of soccer.
