The Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce brought the community together in a big way during the 2026 Spring Fling, held Saturday, April 25th along Main Street in front of the Butler County Courthouse.

Although early forecasts called for rain, the weather turned out to be just about perfect, with sunny skies and temperatures hovering around 70 degrees, setting the stage for a day of activity, shopping and fellowship.

Vendors lined the street, offering a wide variety of handmade crafts, boutique items, home décor, and specialty goods, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to browse and find unique treasures.  A lineup of food trucks added to the festive atmosphere, serving everything from classic food favorites to sweet treats and refreshing drinks, ensuring no one left hungry or thirsty.

Residents from across the county and surrounding areas came out to enjoy the event, catching up with friends and neighbors while supporting local businesses.  Children and families could be seen strolling down Main Street, laughing, shopping, and taking in the lively downtown scene.

Adding to the family-friendly atmosphere were free bouncy houses sponsored by Delta, giving children a place to play and burn off energy, making the event enjoyable for all ages.

In addition to the shopping and food, several local candidates were on hand, giving community members the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the upcoming election.  Their presence added civic element to the day, encouraging engagement and conversation among attendees.

More than anything, the Spring Fling served as a reminder of the strong sense of community that defines Morgantown.  Events like these not only support local vendors and small businesses but also provide a chance for neighbors to come together, enjoy a beautiful day and celebrate the place they call home.
