April 22, 2026 – A day to celebrate the big blue ball we all share was held at Mammoth Cave Transplants.  The Edmonson County Extension Office played a big part in putting together the event. Plant Mama, Janet Dennison was happy to host the event at her place.

Visitors could make art, plant a herb, learn about spices, and prepare seed bombs. Kids enjoyed playing in the dirt as they made seed bombs to throw somewhere special. There were several art projects including coloring with leaf stencils and rock painting.

It was a beautiful day filled with lots of laughter that let kids and adults enjoy some time outside.
