Tommy Wilbur White
GLASGOW – Tommy Wilbur White, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at home surrounded by those who loved and cared for him deeply. A native of Pikeville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ivanhoe and Ollie Dismon White. He was a retired logger.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Melinda Grubb (Frankie); special granddaughter, Courtney Deckard (Morgan); his pride and joy, Rowan and Norah Deckard; his caretakers who were more like daughters, Whitney and Ashley Perkins; a caretaker, Keri Burton; other children, Allen and Mark White, and Carlene Pyles and family; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Bryon Joe Ballard, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
