It is such an amazing thing to welcome community partners who helped the elementary student celebrate Read Across America Week by taking the time to read to them.
A special thank you to Trooper Trent Tooley with the Kentucky State Police, Tareena Horton with Kentucky Farm Bureau, Kim Harwood with the Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce, Kaitlyn Slaughter with LifeSkills, Inc, Dr. John Miller of Miller Family Dentistry, and Josh Hurt, Superintendent.
Their willingness to step into the classrooms and share their time and love of reading made a lasting impact on the students.
When our community comes together to support literacy, it sends a powerful message about the importance of learning. These wonderful partnerships help make our school and community so strong. Thank you for making Read Across America Week such a special success!
