On Saturday, February 28, the Granville Allen VFW Post 5837 and Auxiliary hosted a “Meet the Candidates” chili cook-off.  The community was invited to come out and connect with local candidates.  Admission was free, and all were encouraged to attend.

There were 17 candidates in attendance, and several brought their best chili recipes to compete for top honors.  Attendees enjoyed sampling a wide variety of flavors, such as deer, turkey, traditional beef and more.  The community came out and voted on their favorite chili.  All voting proceeds benefited the Butler Co Boys and Girls Club.
