Janice Faye Peden

GLASGOW – Janice Faye Mills Peden, 77, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late James Bryant Mills and Myeerah Pedigo Mills. Janice was a retired employee of Mallory Capacitor and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Allen Peden; one daughter, Michelle Satterly (Robert Hale); one granddaughter, Whitney Croft (Tyler); five great-grandchildren, Karson, Cooper, and Conner Satterly, Lailah Davis, and Luna Croft; five brothers: Jimmy, Steve, Chris, Darrell, and Kevin Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Clark, and one grandson, Justin Satterly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
