Lorene Jaggers Coffey

CAVE CITY  – Lorene Jaggers Coffey, 85,  passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at Green River Trails in Greensburg, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Clint and Myrtle Vincent Jaggers.

She is survived by three children, Linda Gibson (Tim), Darrell Coffey (Lura), and Carl Coffey (Loretta); nine grandchildren, Kyle Coffey (Jessica), Carla McClister, Ashley Treat (Darrin), Natalia Coffey, Lillie Coffey, Annie Coffey, Scott Gibson (Kim Wyatt), Ryan Gibson (Amy), and Kellie Gibson; one brother, Ron Jaggers (Ann); one sister, Sylvia Whitlow; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos J. Coffey; five brothers, Thomas Jaggers, Edward Jaggers, Larry Jaggers, Raymond Jaggers, and Eugene Jaggers; four sisters, Corine Young, Susie Bennett, Imogene Davis, and Betsy Jaggers.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Hatcher Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday and after 9:00 am Sunday until time for services.
