Janice F. Curry
EDMONTON – Janice Faye Perkins Curry, daughter of the late Warren Perkins and Mildred Gentry Perkins, was born on Monday, June 16, 1952, in Green County and departed this life on Monday, December 8, 2025, at TJ Samson Hospital. She was 73 years, 5 months, and 22 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Maple Hill Church, and the Greensburg Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #232. She worked at Eaton Axle as a line worker.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kerry Gilbert Curry of Edmonton, having united in marriage on August 20, 1977. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kyla and Andrew Tucker of Horse Cave; three grandchildren, Kylan Beger, Carlie Tucker, and Levi Tucker, all of Horse Cave; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kerra Cheslea Curry, on December 14, 1990; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Everett and Dellia Curry.
The funeral service for Janice Faye Perkins Curry was conducted at 1 P.M., Central Time, Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial following in Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Victor Matney and Bro. Jeff Compton officiating.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Kosair Charities, which can be made at the funeral home.
