Shirley Lou Shaw

SCOTTSVILLE – Shirley Lou Shaw, 79, Edmonton, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, surrounded by her family at her residence.  The Edmonton native was a former CNA and attended Foundation Church. She was the daughter of the late Glen Curtis Blaydes and Cora Elizabeth Hurt Jennings and the wife of the late Raymond Shaw Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Chris Shaw and wife and April and Daniel Shaw, all of Edmonton; one daughter, Michelle Gillentine and husband, Danny, Glasgow; special friend, Grant Sacra, Edmonton; two sisters, Sue Melson and husband, Estill, MO, and Cathy Walker and husband, Tony, Edmonton; one granddaughter, Madison Gillentine, Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Owen Jennings.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen, and Goad Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
