Beverly Kay Alderson
EDMONTON – Beverly Kay Alderson, 82, passed away Monday, November 11, 2025, at NHC Healthcare. She was born May 14, 1943, in Sac City, Iowa, to the late Alfred and Erma Penneman Johnsen. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Alderson, son, Kenny Alderson, brother, David Johnsen, and sister, Donna Truelsen.
Beverly was a member of Glen Fork Church of Good News. She found great joy in cooking, baking cookies, cakes, and breads. She welcomed everyone into her home and enjoyed taking care of others. Beverly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Okie) Trumbo of Edmonton; son, Fred (Kenzie) Alderson of Nevada, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Megan Trumbo (William Parke), Cheyanna (Ray) Darden, Lacey (Austin) Trumbo, Peyton (Sydney) Alderson, Aiden (Madison) Alderson, Marcus (Harley) Alderson, Devan (Braelyn) Alderson, and Lily Alderson, eight great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kam Parke, Lasley and Arlo Darden, Baker and Grayden Alvey, Allie and Macy Alderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Mann Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM on Thursday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
