Betty Jane Hobart

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37.

GLASGOW – Betty Jane Isenberg Hobart passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on November 2, 2025. Betty was born on April 21, 1944, in Glasgow, KY. After growing up in Glasgow, she met the love of her life, Jim Hobart, and they were married for 46 years. They lived their lives in many locations over 30 years and met and made many new friends before coming back to Glasgow. She was blessed to have a life of wife, mother, and grandmother, and also found great joy working for the Barren County School system in the Alpha program (Adult learning in pursuit of higher achievement).

Surviving family includes her daughter, Julie Soles (Rick); son, Jerrold Hobart (Jessica); and grandson, Blake Hobart (Cassie); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ewing and Ruby Isenberg; brother, Ewing Edward Isenberg; sister, Goldie Jessie, and her twin brother, Billie Isenberg who she is now reunited with for the first time since her birth.

The family wants to give a special thank you to her caregivers who loved her in her last years and to all who sent her cards; they brought her joy, and she displayed them proudly.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2 PM at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
