2025 Freedom Fest went on even with a few rain showers. Edmonson County Parks and Rec. had some great support from local businesses; The Shop on HWY 70, Halsell’s, Alford’s Pharmacy, A+ Family Health Care, C & A Plumbing, Grider’s Tire and Auto, Scott Waste Services, Bank of Edmonson County, Magistrate TJ Massey and Warnell’s Pharmacy and Soda Shoppe.

Vendors and Food Trucks had lines, but they kept them moving along with great service. All Little League trophies were presented and a great fireworks show by Thunder in the Sky rounded out the evening. See ya next year!

The Gravils ran for cover from the rain under the playground but the rain didn’t stop the kids!   PHOTO | Lynn Bledsoe
