Many participants came out for the 2025 Green River Ramble hosted by the Morgantown Trail Town this past Saturday, June 7th. The kayakers launched at Woodbury and ended at J Guy Cook boat ramp in Morgantown, which is a nine-mile trip down the river with its banks filled to the rim on this adventure.

With help from the City of Morgantown and the Butler County Fiscal Court, the ramps were accessible even with all the extensive rain in recent weeks. Loads of rock was brought onto the ramp at Woodbury to make for an easy transition to the water for the enthusiasts.

BC Rescue Squad, Boy Scout Troop 208, the MOGO Bus, Welcome Fellowship Church, and many other volunteers assisted throughout the event by Morgantown Trail Town. Many thanks go out to everyone to help make this another successful event, once again.
