Last Tuesday, the community and special guests attended the ribbon cutting for Metcalfe Family Medical Center in the renovated building that previously housed Walgreens. Those who attended had the opportunity to tour the newly renovated facility and meet the staff.
Dr. Eric Loy, Chief Executive Officer/Medical Director for Cumberland Family Medical Center, welcomed the guests and shared his excitement about the opening of the facility in Edmonton. He was very complimentary of Dr. Jones and the experience she and the Edmonton team will bring to the community.
Dr. Loy introduced guest speakers. Representative Amy Neighbors and Senator Wise. Both of which acknowledged the benefit this additional option in healthcare will provide to the community. Accessible health care in our rural communities helps reduce travel and expenses with good quality care provided in our hometown.
Edmonton and Metcalfe County are grateful that Metcalfe Family Medical Center has brought another choice in medical care to the community. Thank you, Edmonton-Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce for holding this ribbon cutting.
