Mary Elizabeth Young Coomer

EDMONTON – Mary Elizabeth Young Coomer, 74, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at TJ Samson Hospital. She was born October 27, 1950, to the late Sam and Clara Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Coomer; brother, Timmy Young; and two sisters, Sarah Jeffries and Ruby Tomblin.

She is survived by her daughters, Sammi (Lewis) Hubbard of Florida, and Ruby Whitehead of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Wes Morgan, Zack Morgan, and Slyvia Becker; brother, Jimmy Young of Summer Shade; and sister, Bobbi Tomblin of Edmonton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Smith Cemetery in Sulphur Well, KY. Butler Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted to the care of Ms. Coomer.
