Jeffrey Alan Jones

HISEVILLE – Jeffrey Alan Jones, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, he was the son of William and Diana Brown Jones of Hiseville.

Jeff was reared on a family farm and has been involved with farming most all of his life. He was a graduate of Barren County High School and held a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Western Kentucky University. He greatly enjoyed showing Brown Swiss Cattle in competitions and was a member of the Brown Swiss Association. He was also a member of the Hiseville Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, William and Diana Jones, he is survived by two daughters, Ella Cathryn Jones of Glasgow and Emily Caroline Jones of Lexington; the mother of his children, Tammy Murrey (John) of Glasgow; four brothers, Doug Jones (Genelle) of Temple Hill, Chad Jones and Adam Jones of Hiseville, Josh Jones (Natasha) of Edmonton; five nieces and nephews, Ally, Jagger, Hadleigh, Ezra, and Kenna Jones; two uncles, Mike Brown of Angleton, Texas and Tony Brown of Glasgow.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
