Bobby Austin Jessee
EDMONTON – Bobby Austin Jessee, 80, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Jewish Hospital. Bobby was born November 28, 1944, to the late Earl and Mae Christie Jessee. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur Jessee; nephew, Todd Jessie; and his sister-in-law, Gayle Jessee.
Bobby owned and operated Jessee’s Appliance Service for nearly 50 years. He enjoyed working, hunting, farming, sitting near the pond on his farm watching the ducks, chickens, turkeys, and all the other farm animals. Bobby loved taking care of people and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Brown Jessee of Edmonton; four children, Mike Jessee (Susan Thompson) of Edmonton, Mark Jessee of Glasgow, Mitch Jessee, and Matt Jessee (Emily Perkins) both of Edmonton; grandchildren, Shana Edwards, Dustin Jessee, Misty Acree, Chase Jessee, Riley Jessee, Jennifer Crabtree, Ashley Miccichi, Christina Jessee, Tara (Zachery) Harper, Logan Jessee (Claudia Bell), Conner (Jocelynn) Jessee, and Maylea “Pa’s Girl” Jessee; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Jessee and Roger (Wanda) Jessee; special friends, James Dickerson, Braelynn Rogers, Cate Bell, and Eric Bryant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Bobby Jessee will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Thursday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
