ECHS Students Qualify for National Beta Convention
Students from ECHS who participated in the 2025 State Beta Convention.

Students from ECHS participated in the 2025 State Beta Convention held in Lexington February 12-14. Students competing in academic and writing competitions submitted their tests and writings online in December. Those competing in Visual Arts events, submitted their pieces at the convention. There were four students that qualified to compete in the National Beta convention this summer:

Sara Lindsey – 2nd place 12th grade Agriscience
Brayden Johnson – 1st place 11th grade Language Arts
Thomas James – 2nd place 10th grade Language Arts
Ethan Pinet – 2nd place 10th grade Social Studies
For Brayden, Thomas, and Ethan, this is their second year in a row qualifying for the National Beta Convention. This is Brayden’s second year placing 1st in Language Arts at his grade level.
