Stanley Harold Houchens

GLASGOW – Stanley Harold Houchens, 76, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his residence. He was the son of the late Harry Hunter and Lillian Rose McCluskey Houchens. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by three children, Stanley Harold Houchens, Jr., Jerry Douglas Houchens, and Jennifer Houchens; four grandchildren, Christopher Tharpe, Dylan Houchens (Courtney), Autumn Pierce (Gage), and Brandon Higdon; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Houchens; one granddaughter, Sarah Beth Houchens; three brothers, Harry Eugene Houchens, Haskell Earl Houchens, and Clifton Houchens; two sisters, Edith White and Wanda Deckard.

The funeral will be at 11:00 am Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday and after 9:00 am Monday until time for services.
