The Metcalfe County Board of Education met for its February meeting on Monday, February 10th and Chairman Glass presented recognitions to the following people for student and staff of the month.
The Student of the Month was Claire Shapiro, MCHS Senior pictured with chairman Daniel Glass.
The Classified Employee of the Month was Mrs. Judy Thompson, MCHS YSC pictured with chairman Daniel Glass.
Certified Employee of the Month: Mrs. Sami Jo Merideth, MCHS Math Teacher pictured with chairman Daniel Glass.
Five Metcalfe County teachers recently completed Elevate Academy, Kentucky’s Premier Rank Change Program. Certificates of achievement were presented at the February 2025 board meeting to Mrs. Amy Devore, Mrs. Mattie Reed, Ms. Kim Compton, Mrs. Candace Howard (not pictured), and Mrs. Lauren Morgan (not pictured.)
