Lowell Howard Hall
EDMONTON – Lowell Howard Hall, son of the late David and Myrtle Troxtell Hall, was born on March 28, 1944, in Wayne County. He departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Cumberland Valley Nursing Home in Burkesville, having attained the age of 80 years, ten months, and 18 days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ravenna Separate Baptist Church. He was a lifelong farmer, played the banjo, enjoyed taking long walks, and especially the time spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine Hurt Hall, having united in marriage on January 10, 1969.
Other survivors include his children, David (Peggy) Hall, Burkesville, Melinda Choban, and Beverly (Chad) Glenn, all of Edmonton, Regina Gilpin (Derek Boothe), Bowling Green, Kendall (Tiffany) Hall, Glasgow and Marty Hall, Edmonton; grandchildren, Ben Hall, Travis Gibson, Sarah Wright, Trucker Bowles, Dalton Bowles, Nathaniel Hall, Bobby Hall, Chloe Hall, Briella Hall, and Jacob Gilpin; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Bowles, Allie Hall, Emmie Hall, Avie Gibson, and Lenice Gibson; three brothers, Barney Hall, Clyde (Sue) Hall, and Thomas (Donna) Hall, all of Ohio; four sisters, Joyce Black and Freda Branscum, both of Monticello, Retha Casada, Crackerneck, and Barbara Black, Eubank; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nolan Ryan Gibson; and four siblings, Donald Hall, Charlie Hall, Kathleen Phillips, and Geneva Nevels.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Ravenna Separate Baptist Church, Edmonton with burial in the Cedar Flats Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Nevels officiated.
Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of the arrangements.
