Terry Lee Blakley

GLASGOW – Terry Lee Blakley, 58, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at his residence. Terry was born March 15, 1966, to the late Willie Edward and Falling Leaf Reecer Blakley. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Heuer and Michelle Philpot.

Terry was a former employee of Rondal Phelps Lumber Company, Metcalfe County Road Department, Barren County Vocational School, and was on the volunteer fire department in Edmonton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing bing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by one sister, Patricia Woodcock of Glasgow; two brothers, Jerry Blakley of Park City and Eddie Blakley of Columbia; two half-siblings, Edwina Jaggers of Horse Cave and Canary Briley of TN; his significant other of 24 years, Nona Lewis of Glasgow; three children he loved as his own, Ashley (Matt) Lewis, Chad (Maggie) Lewis, and Katelyn (Hunter) Coleman; eight grandchildren, Audri, Elloyt, Kensey, Kaylee, Kenlee, Emma, Jordan, and Jacob; one niece, Renae (Nicole) Wilder; two nephews, Clinton (Pam) Heuer and William (Amber) Capshaw; two great-nephews, Jessie Capshaw and Felix Capshaw; and a great-niece, Raven Capshaw. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Terry Blakley will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of the service Saturday here at the funeral home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
