Local basketball legend Clarence Glover will soon return to Horse Cave to debut his new book.
Glover – who was an all-state athlete at Caverna, starred on the Western Kentucky University Men’s 1971 Final Four basketball team, and was a number one draft selection for the NBA Boston Celtics – will be at Caverna High School on January 31 to reveal the inspiration behind his “My Journey” book series.
The meet-and-greet will begin between the Caverna vs. LaRue County basketball games at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the Caverna High School library.
Glover’s first book in the series is titled “Horse Cave to Houston: Pursuit of a National Championship”. The book focuses on his childhood in Horse Cave and his journey to competing in the NCAA Final Four at the Houston Astrodome.
The community is welcome to join Glover at the CHS library on January 31 as he shares his journey and new book.
A full story with Clarence Glover will print in a future edition of the Hart County News-Herald.
