Mary Grace Dugger

EDMONTON – Mary Grace Dugger, 82, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Metcalfe County Health Care. Grace was born July 25, 1942, to the late George Robert and Velma Firkins Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dugger; brothers, Neal Smith and Julius Smith; and her sister, Maggie Tierney.

Grace attended Trinity Outreach Church. She enjoyed sewing, making doll clothes, cutting and fixing peoples hair, and watching hummingbirds.

She is survived by her children, Philip Smith of Edmonton, Kathy Dugger of Edmonton, Donita Blackburn of IN, Billy Dugger, and Jeff Dugger both of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Jon (Becky) Strode and Brookie Woodcock; two great-granddaughters, Addyson Ballard and Briana Blackburn, great-great-grandson, Layne Scott; and sister, Margaret Hensley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Grace Dugger will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of the service on Tuesday here at the funeral home.
