James Lincoln Andrew Coffey

EDMONTON – James Lincoln Andrew Coffey, 4 months old, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at UK Children’s Hospital in Lexington, KY. Lincoln was welcomed into this life on August 30, 2024, at 10:05 AM by his mommy and daddy James Allen Coffey and Kandis Fancher.

Things don’t always go as planned as Lincoln was born at 25 weeks and only weighed 13.8 ounces. He spent his entire life in the NICU fighting to survive. He grew by leaps and bounds. He had some really great days and loved visits from his devoted family. If love could have saved him, he would still be with us, because he was loved so enormously. Lincoln left this world surrounded by his parents.

James Lincoln Andrew Coffey was welcomed into heaven by his grandfathers, James Earl “Jamie” Coffey and Charles D Fancher; his great-grandparents, Charles Ray and Devonia Fancher, James and Connie Coffey; great-grandmother, Mary; great uncle, Chris Froedge; and great aunt, Jeannie Coffey Wheeler.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Bentley Coffey and Braxton Irvin; sister, Emberlyn Coffey; maternal grandparents, Michael and Melissa Simpson of Edmonton; paternal grandmother, Roxanne Lope; paternal great-grandparents, Kathy and Lee Pennell; maternal great-grandparents, Billy Froedge (Donna) and Vickie Froedge. Sweet little Lincoln was loved by so many. He had a large family and is survived by a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
