Herman J. Mayrand, Jr.

EDMONTON – Herman J. Mayrand Jr. 80, passed away from this life on January 19, 2025. He was born July 25, 1944, in Connecticut to the late Herman Joseph, Sr. and Edith Mayrand. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dolly; a son, Jason; brother, Kenneth; and his sister, Edna.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Mayrand of Edmonton; two daughters, Cynthia Turgeon and Jaime (Val) Parkes; a son, Justin (Rebeca);  three grandchildren, Logan, Kitana, and Olivia; and his two sisters,, Betty and Evelyn.

In honor of Herman’s wishes the family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
