Alma Ferne Ferrell

CAVE CITY – Alma Ferne Ferrell, age 93, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Bowling Green Medical Center. She was a native of Eubank, Kentucky; and a daughter of the late Manville and Osa Reynolds Williams. She was a retired bookkeeper and a devout member of Cave City Baptist Church, having served as a Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer. She was a 65-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Albert D. Ferrell; and a sister, Faye Blanton.

She is survived by one son, David M. Ferrell and wife, Jerri Jolly Ferrell; three grandsons, David Michael Ferrell, II (Zach), Bradley Ferrell (Amelia), and Miles Ferrell (Taylor). Great-grandchildren, Hayden, Magnus, Layla, and bonus grandson, Branson; and one sister, Frances Faw of Somerset also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Cave City Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Cave City Cemetery. Pastor Ryan Broers and Bobby Esters will officiate the services.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Church.
