Ted Arthur Garmon
GLASGOW – Ted Arthur Garmon, 78, passed away on January 16, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1946, to the late James Shelby and Maxine Hurt Garmon.
Ted loved hunting, crappie fishing, and being outdoors. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was stationed for 18 months at Headquarters, 97th General Hospital, Frankfurt, Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Janis Davis Garmon; two sons, TJ Garmon of Owensboro and Wayne Garmon (Ruth Ann) of Glasgow; brother, Jerry Mac Garmon (Peggy Gittings) of Edmonton; grandchildren, Kristen Lyle, Lindsey Garmon, Haylee Garmon, and Nicholas Garmon; great-grandchildren, Khloe Brown and Bella Tyler Lyle; nephews, Chase Garmon and Jason Garmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy Garmon.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 until time for services on Sunday.
