Ruthie Kaye Moore

GLASGOW – Ruthie Kaye Moore, 64, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at NHC Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Roger Lewis Bush and Nada Magdeline Brooks Bush. Ruthie was a former employee of Sitel in Glasgow who loved gardening and tending her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Moore, Sr.

Survivors include three children, Donna Baker of Florida, Melvin Moore, Jr. (Bernice) of Glasgow, and Rebecca Thomas (Jacob) of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Leah Moore and Malia Baker; two brothers, Allen Bush and Tim Bush (Tracy); five sisters, Mary Ashley (Ray), Rita Horton (James), Sharon Sturgeon, Jeanette Bush, and Sherry Neal (Happy); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
