Dorothy Pearl England Rajala

EDMONTON – Dorothy Pearl England Rajala, 84 of Edmonton, KY passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Metcalfe County Health Care. Dorothy was born July 2, 1940, in Indiana to the late Tom and Maudy Froedge Fields. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Garnett England; her son, Lonnie England; and daughter, Mary Alice Rich; sister, Mary Agnus Harris; two brothers, Denzil and Perry Fields; and grandson, Scotty Dewayne.

Dorothy was a member of Society Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, going to yard sales, fishing, being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Rajala; three children, Wayne England, Tommy (June) England, and Debbie Hurt all of Edmonton; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Dorothy Rajala will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 8:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
