Raymond Denzil Pedigo
GLASGOW – Raymond Denzil Pedig, age 88, peacefully entered his heavenly home November 29, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones. Raymond was born October 19, 1936, to Roxie A and Clarence Pedigo of Metcalfe County, KY. Raymond served his country 4 years in the United States Army and was a member of Coral Hill Baptist Church where he served the Lord by starting a bus transportation ministry for those without a way to church. He not only provided a ride, but a smile, sweet treats, and wise words of advice. Raymond also served by serving others in his garage repairing cars and travelled miles to businesses and farms to sell cleaners and oils to not just customers, but friends.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Linda Pedigo; children, Beverly Taylor (Jeff), Sheri Pedigo, Eddie Pedigo (Sherry); and one step-daughter, Debra Smith (Wesley); four grandchildren, Justin Taylor, Jessica Hill, Holly England, and Joshua Smith; 10 great-grandchildren, Zoe, Alexis, Jada, Tristan, Logan, Natalie, Lane, Hannah, Madison, and Makenzie; 1 great-great-grandchild, Haysleigh Blayke Sloan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sisters, Marvin Pedigo, Vernon Pedigo, Ray Pedigo, Audrey Perkins, Helen Lawson, and Christine Medley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will provide military honors at the cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday and after 9:00 am Tuesday until time for services.
