Juanita E. Strange

BOWLING GREEN – Juanita E. Strange, 91, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence D. Coffey and Julia Elizabeth Cary Coffey.

Juanita was a retired employee of Sumitomo whose favorite pastimes were sewing and reading. She was a member of the Alvaton Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Strange and his wife Norma, and Todd Strange and his wife Lori all of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Casey Strange, Jessie Flatt and husband Payne, and Connor Strange and his wife Misa; one brother, Calvin Coffey and his wife Carol; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Happy Coffey (Louise) and “Shorty” Coffey; and two sisters, Wilma Hogue (Rumsey) and Juanita’s twin, Geneva Harvey (Raymond).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue Saturday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

    I am so sorry for your loss.
    I hope Juanita and my mom Martha Cary Johnson are hugging and singing with angels.
    We loved her very much.
