Dave “Ron” Brock

CAVE CITY – Dave “Ron” Brock, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He worked as a tool and die maker at Metalsa in Elizabethtown. Ron was an avid fisherman and had a love for playing chess.

He is preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Tommy Harper, and Jimmy Harper; and two sisters-in-law, Margie Lane, and Sandy Harper.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Brock; two step-children, Pam Wilhoite (Lloyd), Garland Sturgeon (April); step-grandchildren, Brandi Morrison (Daniel), Courtney Carby (Dayton); step-great-grandchildren, Allie Poynter, Audri Poynter, Emersyn Carby, Jace Carby; brothers-in-law, William Harper, Terry Harper, Dickie Harper (Kim), Leon Harper (Lora); sisters-in-law, Shirley Meadows (Jerry), Linda Bentley, Judy Blair, Nancy Philpott (Billy), Donna Harper, and Gail Harper; he is also survived by his loving fur baby, Bella.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Winn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM CST until the time of the service at 2:00 PM.
