Jerry Stanley Jones

GLASGOW – Jerry Stanley Jones, 70, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Barren County Nursing and Rehab. He was born July 11, 1954, in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Standley Jones and Alma Steenbergen Jones. Jerry was a lifelong farmer who loved mowing and raking hay, attending lawnmower pulls and farm shows, and sitting under the tree in his front yard talking to neighbors. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his cousins on the Jones and Steenbergen sides; caregivers and cousins, James and Jackie Jones; and his friends in the Freedom Community of Barren County.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda L. Jones.

A graveside service for Mr. Jones will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Poplar Log Cemetery. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
