Bobby Joe Huff

GREEN COUNTY – Bobby Joe Huff, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born on May 24, 1938, in Green County to the late Willie C. Huff and America Asbury Huff. Bobby was a 1958 graduate of Green County High School, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He made a profession of faith and was a longtime member and deacon of the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church in Hart County, where he also taught Sunday School. Bobby retired as an electrician from Eatons Axle in Glasgow and was a Charter Board Member of the North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Huff and Dolly Spencer Huff; an uncle, Luther Huff (Elsie Kidd Huff); father and mother-in-law, Paul and Louise Robertson Bryant; brother-in-law, William Bryant; sister-in-law, Brenda Akin Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Marietta Bryant Huff; one daughter, Penny Jones (Josh); two granddaughters, Heather Bennett (Brandon), Whitney Jones (Brian); five great-grandchildren, Jessalynn, Bryson, Karley, Cash, and Presley; one great-great-grandchild, Kingston; three brothers-in-law, Randell Bryant (Kathie), Buck Bryant (Jenny), Danny Bryant (Debra); one sister-in-law, Janice Bryant.

Funeral Services will be held at the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Winn Funeral Home, and after 10:00 AM Sunday at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Whickerville Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Gideons, or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
