Ronald “Ron” Bowman

GLASGOW – Ronald “Ron” Bowman, 59, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on December 31, 1964, and lovingly raised by his late parents, Rex and Vesta Bowman. Ron retired from the Barren County Board of Education. He was an active member of Temple Baptist Church in Glasgow and joyfully served the Lord by way of singing, teaching, and playing the piano of which he was especially gifted.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cindy Bowman; one son, Clay Bowman; his sister, Carol Fox (Danny); and nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Bowman; and one nephew.

The funeral service for Mr. Bowman will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church from 9:30 AM until time for the service at the church.
