Wilfred Rickie “Rick” Wood

GLASGOW – Wilfred Rickie “Rick” Wood, 70, passed away on September 23, 2024. He was born February 27, 1954, in Glasgow, KY.  Rick enjoyed telling stories and jokes, always wanting to make others smile. He was tremendously proud of being a father and then a grandfather, always lighting up when the kids were around. His smile, sense of humor, and kind heart will never be forgotten by his family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Wood; and grandson, Cameron Wells. Survivors include his wife, Elaine of Glasgow; beloved dog, Mo; daughter, Emily Flack (Brian) of Georgetown, KY, daughter, Amy Wells (William) of Cave City, KY, son Alex Wood (Elizabeth) of Glasgow, KY; grandchildren, Elizabeth Flack, Melody Flack, Ian Wells; brother,Wayne Wood; and friends who will always remember him.
