William Oscar Smith

GLASGOW – William Oscar Smith, 72, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Bowling Green Medical Center. He was the son of the late Virgil and Ella May Crow Smith. He was retired from the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery and worked at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Smith; stepchildren, Jerry Marsh and Rhonda Hatfield; one sister, Anna Britt; two brothers, Arthur James Simpson and Clifton Smith (Rose); several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Crow.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for services.
