Michael Anthony Wren

GLASGOW – Michael Anthony Wren, 63, died Monday, September 9, 2024, at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Marion County, he was the son of the late Johnny Putnam Wren and Nellie Mae Faulkner Wren. He was a former employee of ACK Controls in Glasgow and a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Martha; two daughters, Kimberly Wren and Carisa Wren; two grandchildren, Aaliyah Wren and Alric Wren; a special friend, Melvin Cobb; two brothers, Darryl Wren and Ronnie Wren; two sisters, Patsy Nunn and Sheila Wren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Wren and Howard Wren; and two sisters, Betty Lawson and Norma Wheeler.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bowles Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses at Funds – Treasured Memories Community Funding (tmcfunding.com)
