Dorothy Borden Doyle

PARK CITY – Dorothy Borden Doyle, age 80, departed this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at her residence. The Barren County native was born on May 16, 1944, to the late Elmer Woodrow and Ruby Frances Cary Borden. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Ronald David Doyle.

Dorothy was a former retail manager for Dawahares, and enjoyed spending time on their farm. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory— her son, David Doyle (Cecilia) of Park City; grandchildren, Sutton Doyle of Bowling Green, Elizabeth Doyle of Park City, and Stanton Doyle of Park City; her sister, Audrey McFarland (Dean) of Glasgow; special cousins, Mary Lee Wilson, Ernie Borden, Connie Jewell (Steve), and Louise Higginbotham Casper.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to: Hosparus, 1320 N Race St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
