Arzula Marie Smith

GLASGOW – Arzula Marie Smith, 92, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Monroe County Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1931, in Jeffrey, Kentucky to the late Wert Vance and Weltha Smith Vance. Marie was a former assembly line operator at Sorenson and loved quilting and gardening. She was a devoted member of Fairview Baptist Church in Monroe County.

Survivors include many cousins who will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Richey and second husband, Levy Smith.

A graveside service for Marie will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Monroe County.
