Joyce Juanita McCoy

EDMONTON – Joyce Juanita McCoy, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. Joyce was born October 26, 1941, to the late Dewell and Delphia Garrett Harper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall McCoy; son, Timothy McCoy; two great- grandchildren, Silas Speck and Addison McCoy; and her brothers, Elzie, Charles, and Randy Harper.

Joyce was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to church, and watching her hummingbirds. Joyce was also an avid UK basketball fan and loved Elvis.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Angie) McCoy of Oakland, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Cindy McCoy of Edmonton; grandchildren, Torie (Johnny) Hatton, Ethan (Brittney) McCoy, April Mccoy, Shathan (Betsy) McCoy, Matthew (Ashley) McCoy, Curtis (Amanda) Deweese, Collin (Megan) Crumpton, Makenna (Nathan) Greene, and Courtney (Colton) Greene; great-grandchildren, Cecily Scott, Tess (Gavin) Burd, Maddie Hatton, Boone Hatton, Cooper Hatton, Ava Ballard, Emilee McCoy, Gage McCoy, Tucker Gossom, Charli McCoy, Andi McCoy, Kinsleigh Mccoy, Kensey Lohden, Kaylee Lohden, Kenlee Lohden, Aubrey Deweese, Luna Deweese, Braelin Crumpton, and CJ Crumpton; great-great-grandchild, Harper Speck; sisters, Judy Wilson and Karen Faye Whitlow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Joyce McCoy will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, Kentucky with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Friday at the funeral home until time of the service.
